As Project Manager you will manage client projects from start to completion keeping projects on time, within budget and on target to meet client needs. Serve as day-to-day liaison, as required, between client and production teams for the purpose of accomplishing the stated project objectives. Will work closely with Account Managers and Partners. Must be a self-starter and a ‘make-it-happen’ person.

The successful Project Manager will be extremely organized and able to coordinate and monitor the daily detail of all projects to assure they are completed on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.  Other responsibilities include:

  • Partner with account management team to understand and execute clients requests.
  • Analyze project specifications and requirements.
  • Work closely with strategy, creative, and technology teams to develop business requirements and implementation plans.
  • Open and manage jobs via company software and filing system.
  • Set expectations for deliverables and timing.
  • Resolve schedule conflicts and proactively guide projects through the internal processes and programs.
  • Manage the scope, resources, budget and project schedule with minimal guidance from Account Manager.
  • Promote teamwork and coordination across team members.
  • Ensure ability to track project progress in coordination with project financials.
  • Ensure client jobs are produced in compliance with strict quality standards.
  • Help source freelance talent for projects.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, day-to-day management of projects from initiation through implementation and deployment.
  • Read trade publications, websites or other sources for information to become knowledgeable on each client and to keep abreast of client’s industry issues and changes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years Project Management experience with B2B & B2C experience.  Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field or additional related experience.
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster communication and motivate a diverse team to produce a quality product on time and within budget is a must.
  • Must be able to understand the "big picture" while having the ability to master details of multiple projects.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive client interactions with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Writing and/or design skills strong plus.
  • Basic computer skills required; MAC, design software and Workamajig software knowledge a plus.
