Dates: May 30, 2017 – August 31, 2017

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Supervisor: Mackenzie Sanger, Senior Program Manager (414)271-1470

Intern Site: 10425 W North Avenue #340 Wauwatosa, WI 53226

Duties: This internship will focus on the 2017 Best Buddies International Student Leadership Conference 

Communication: Execute mass communication (participants, parents, supporters, staff, board members, etc.) through a variety of channels. Organize weekly/monthly communication (phone, e-mail, text, etc.) with Leadership Conference attendees including, but not limited to, student leadership socials, parent nights, and Ambassador get-togethers.

Donation/Sponsorship: Secure a number of donated items and services pre-event and post-event. Retain spreadsheet with donor information and manage donor logistics/follow-up.

Logistics: Must be available to attend Leadership Conference (July 21-July 24). Support Leadership Conference attendees and chapter activities focused around Leadership Conference. Support logistical aspects of travel, food, and housing at, before, and following Leadership Conference.

Program: Support other programmatic needs as needed – specifically for Best Buddies Wisconsin friendship programs.

Valuable non-profit experience including fundraising, donor relations, event planning, research and development; credit hours (if applicable). Please note – there is no financial stipend for this internship.
