Summary

Put your creative writing, planning and media relations skills (traditional and social) to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment at Leonard & Finco Public Relations, Inc. As a result of our company's growth, we're adding an Account Executive to work with us on a variety of interesting and fun client projects. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of solid PR experience with an emphasis on social media, writing, media relations, PR planning and implementation. Graphic design capabilities a plus.

Description

The Account Executive will help develop and implement strategic public relations plans and activities for L&F clients. The AE works directly with clients, providing guidance, insight and strategy as well as carrying out the plan elements.

Must have flexibility to be able to work nights, weekends and occasional holidays when the clientele needs are outside of normal working hours or when the job requires extra time or effort. This is not a usual occurrence, but it does sometimes happen.

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated abilities to plan, organize, set and meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write concisely and professionally for varied audiences on a diverse amount of topics.
  • Must have the ability to successfully interact with a diverse client base in the scope of a workday. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Power Point, Excel and Publisher) along with major social media platforms.
  • Graphic design experience and experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communications or related field, two to five years of experience in public or government relations, advertising, marketing or the media.
