The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of programs and processes to support the AC Business Media brands, marketing objectives and strategies. This is a “hands-on” position and requires a diverse skill set that can manage a multitude of projects from market research and analysis to developing social media promotions.

This position understands the customer and has the ability to match audience needs with cutting-edge deliverables. The Marketing Manager understands the role of marketing within the organization. Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other stake holders to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development of marketing strategies and tactics with measurable results
  • Develop and execute marketing programs that are innovative and differentiate ACBM from the competition
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
  • Manage PR Program
  • Write a wide spectrum of promotional materials for print, digital and social media
  • Produce bi-monthly marketing newsletter
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout all communications and materials
  • Participate in development of branding initiatives
  • Lead in the development of annual media kits
  • Manage award programs for all brands Assist with event marketing as required
  • Develop non-traditional promotions that inspire and drive attendance and participation in trade shows & events
  • Conduct market research and analyze data as required
  • Engage in other projects as required

Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 5 years previous marketing management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective understanding of latest technology and how to apply them in marketing projects
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in social media
  • Strong leadership, project management and time management skills
  • Highly proficient computer skills
  • Efficient multi-tasking abilities, excellent follow through, detail oriented and ability to see the big picture
  • Problem-analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with “can do” attitude
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines – self motivated
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
