Eastbrook Academy, a ministry of Eastbrook Church, is currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Director.

The Human Resources Director is a solo Human Resources Department responsible for all Human Resources practices and policiesfor the school. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, policy interpretation, managing volunteers and substitutes, and preparing annual contracts.

This position is 15-20 hours per week. Candidate must have some flexibility in schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Human Resources certification preferred. 
  • Three to five years Human Resources generalist experience. 
  • Because Eastbrook Academy is a religious organization, candidate must currently be a member in good standing of a church and have unreserved acceptance of EBA's Statement of Faith.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to make timely and informed decisions and understand when to escalate issues. 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software required; HRIS familiarity; effective presentation skills; ability to interface with all employee levels.
