SixSpeed is looking for a Junior Copywriter to join its growing Minneapolis team.

You’ll be tasked with taking on big, sticky challenges—tackling them just like us: with pencils down and minds open. You’ll not only have ideas that leap from the page, but the skill and discipline to craft them into copy that inspires action. You’ll speak to audiences through well-crafted brand ideas, using language as your closest ally. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of creative agency experience or a portfolio that proves you have the ability to generate original ideas and the persistence to will them into the world.

This position is for our fast-paced powersports and outdoor client base. Passion and knowledge for powersports and the outdoors will be given extra credit!

  • Assists in generating high quality targeted ideas and copy in a fast-paced team environment 
  • Commitment to innovation in connecting people and brands in new ways 
  • Assists in translating a brand’s personality across channels 
  • Ability to adopt multiple brand voices depending on assignment 
  • Ability to pitch and sell work internally and externally 
  • Adheres to deadlines 
  • Takes feedback and direction from team or client 
  • Involved in project engagement from kick-off to completion 
  • Consistent high attention to detail—working with teams and with language 
  • Works directly with Creative Director and Sr. Members of team 
  • Proactively self-organizes with teammates to creatively solve problems 
  • Delivers copy to team in a timely and effective manner
