The Candeo Creative Data Analyst must have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and data. This person who is well versed in data collections and data mining will use this information to guide marketing and sales strategies for the agency and its clients. He/she must have a passion for marketing and advertising, balancing his/her right-left brain. With superior communication skills, the data analyst will help the agency and clients forecast sales/marketing opportunities and make suggestions for current strategies. The data analyst will be accountable for specific content marketing initiatives (such as case studies creation, client cases, solution reports, SWOT analysis, etc), gathering and understanding client requirements and design by engaging and working with account management and leadership teams. He/she will work with clients, sales teams, strategy, and business intelligence teams to identify product use cases. The data analyst will create and maintain reports on the effectiveness of content marketing activities on business impact and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

To ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients, the data analyst will work hand-in-hand with account managers, strategists and department leaders to seek and implement the best solutions. This position will be a perfect fit for you if you are able to:

  • Develop insights the sales team can use to share during client proposals 
  • Develop a research and analysis strategy 
  • Determine the key questions and variables for queries 
  • Plan and execute data collection 
  • Analyze data for trends in product usage and marketing campaigns 
  • Develop custom reports with data visualizations 
  • Present findings to internal teams and customers 
  • Work with sales/support and creative production teams on ad hoc data requests 
  • Work with IT team on methods and tools for data organization 
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost and highest quality 
  • Have brand manager mindset and understand the management and creation of content audiences are looking for; optimize the path to conversion 
  • Develop and manage organization workflows 
  • Maintain quality and on time delivery of agreed deliverables
  • 2-5 years experience in a data analysis role 
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or Mathematics 
  • Ability to communicate across organizational and client boundaries 
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising industry 
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving through successful work in similar environments 
  • Ability to manage time and priorities to work efficiently and effortlessly 
  • Highly organized and deadline driven 
  • Effective verbal and written communicator utilizing various digital platforms 
  • Ability to work in a multi-task, multi-priority, high volume, and fast-paced environment with limited supervision and direction 
  • Pleasant personality, professional appearance and tact 
  • Ability to work effectively on a team with a positive attitude and avoid gossip 
  • Insatiable appetite to learn more 
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office tools and business intelligence tools 
  • Understanding of B2B marketing, marketing collateral development, campaign management, forecasting 
  • Understanding of Outsourcing services & solutions (traditional and digital), industry metrics, KPI's & terminologies Data mining and Data Analysis experience a plus
