“My experience and wisdom makes me the agency expert on all things paid search. As one of the agency’s senior paid search professionals, I provide guidance to paid search strategists, leading by example, and I am consistently looking for ways to elevate the agency’s offering. I am personally accountable for the overall performance of each of the clients I am assigned to. Based on the strategy/plans I develop, I build campaigns that are set up to perform against objectives. I partner with creative and client services to ensure all of our ads and copy are on-brand and in alignment with client expectations. I ensure all of my programs remain on budget and proper tracking is in place. My reporting is accurate and tells a clear performance story for clients. I’m passionate about my craft and am always looking for new opportunities to drive results.”
Core Responsibilities:
Lead clients’ paid search campaign strategies, and work with specialists on development and implementation;
Accountable for day-to-day optimization of assigned accounts;
Translate business and marketing goals into paid search programs;
Establish client-specific paid search objectives, strategies, budget estimates and insights;
Communicate campaign performance and status to clients and present client reports;
Be accountable for the quality of day-to-day management including:
- Owning targeting;
- Developing, maintaining, optimizing keyword sets;
- Bid management;
- Determining competitive sets and analysis;
- Working with creative strategist on landing page strategies;
- Writing and optimizing paid search ads (or knowing when to delegate writing to a in-house copywriter);
Work alongside Analytics in creating reporting structure and measurement;
Own and foster relationships with lead search engine partners (e.g. Google, Bing)
Provide marketplace expertise and education to agency and clients;
Add to the agency’s intellectual capital through case studies, blog posts, whitepapers and POVs
