Marketing Manager

About HGA Architects & Engineers:

HGA is a more than 750+ person, award winning architecture, engineering and planning firm with eight (8) locations across the United States. Our office in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and experienced marketing manager to join its team. This position supports all of the firm’s practice groups and collaborates with other marketing coordinators to produce high-level proposals and collateral.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual with a demonstrated ability to identify, integrate and translate information from multiple sources into creative, compelling, client-focused materials. The Marketing Manager leads, creates and prepares all marketing collateral in support of regional business development. The successful candidate is committed to working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field preferred
• Experience with RFQ/RFP and interview preparation process (knowledge of architectural and/or engineering fields a plus)
• Excellent copywriting/editing skills and attention to detail
• Top-notch organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
• Strong graphic design abilities and proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and remain cool under pressure
• A team player showing initiative and ownership of his/her areas of responsibility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners with senior leadership and business developers to translate firm-wide marketing strategy into customer engagement and project needs
• Creates and coordinates other marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, eblasts, award submittals, project case studies, and staff resumes
• Builds and manages external relationships with marketing/communications vendors
• Communicates and builds internal and external relationships to ensure proposal input is accurate, compelling and timely
• Assists with the preparation of conferences and industry events
• Collaborates with firm wide marketing coordinators to strategize on marketing initiatives, and knowledge sharing/best practices
• Manages and mentors marketing staff
• Engage firm-wide resources such as communications, graphics, video and photography to support the marketing needs of the office
• Collaborates with Marketing Director and firm-wide marketing staff
