We’re looking for a detail-focused, numbers-oriented, self-starter to join our media team. The selected candidate will assist with media planning support as well as buying traditional and digital media. Includes researching data on readership/viewership statistics and surveys, supporting the media director to determine the best media plan that achieves maximum reach, impact and recall value based on campaign objectives and budget, assisting with post-buy analysis and invoice reconciliation, etc.

Job responsibilities and candidate criteria include:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain cordial relations with clients and media
  • Strong negotiating skills in order to execute and place media buy on behalf of client best interests
  • Media vehicle evaluation, negotiation, placement and reporting
  • Media client billing/vendor invoicing processing and management
  • Paid social media evaluation, coordination, placement and reporting
  • Must be organized and process driven
  • Project management and multi-department material coordination skills a plus
  • Previous advertising agency and media buying experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • B2C and B2B experience
