The Assistant Media Strategist’s core responsibility is to facilitate the execution and management of all media programs, as well as assist in preparing campaign performance reports & analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Media Strategists to develop and maintain media plans.
  • Prepare and update purchase orders.
  • Manage creative trafficking process; including creating and developing tags in third-party adserving software.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate campaign launches including troubleshooting and resolving any issues with media/account teams and media vendors.
  • Analyze data to provide client with recommendations for optimizations.
  • Maintain relationships with media suppliers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and update media flowcharts and purchase authorizations.
  • Take ownership over client reporting responsibilities, incorporating a variety of resources, from media companies and third party resources.
  • Monitor client billing; resolve any related issues.
  • Ensure all media projects proceed according to plan and on deadline.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills.
  • High level of experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn the management of online campaigns across variety of vendors.
  • Knowledge/Exposure to third party ad serving, for the purposes of ad serving, monitoring and analyzing online campaigns.
  • Experience developing spreadsheets, managing large amounts of data and digital files.
  • 1+ years of media buying/planning experience desired.
