Job Summary:

The Brand and Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for leading the integrated marketing communications team to develop, execute and measure the Scotch-Brite™ Brand, Scotchgard® Brand, Thinsulate® Brand and the O-Cel-O™ Brand investments, across all consumer touchpoints, in partnership with business unit leaders across the Home Care Division.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Global responsibility for communication of and advocacy for the Scotch-Brite™, Scotchgard® and Thinsulate® brand guidelines
  • Development of holistic, integrated programs to increase awareness, drive purchase intent and create an emotional bond with Home Care Division products and brands.
  • Management and coordination of the execution of these integrated marketing programs. Potential tactics to include traditional advertising, public relations, in-store, digital media, events and national promotions.
  • Direct supervision of two marketing communications professionals.
  • Leadership of the cross-functional Brand Integrated Communications Team.
  • Partner directly with business unit leaders and their reports to provide strategic communication counsel and executional excellence.
  • Manage agency partnerships and fulfillment vendors to insure continued strategic alignment and executional excellence.
  • Development of ROI analyses for the organization to ensure effective marketing plans to drive POS growth and share growth.
  • Responsible for National Shopper Marketing programs – creative, media and close integration with Account-specific Shopper Marketing Team
  • Management and tracking of campaigns/programs in the budget.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited University 
  • Minimum of six (6) years of marketing communications experience 
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience developing integrated marketing communications programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, focus in Marketing or Communications. 
  • Five (5) years experience developing branding and/or marketing strategies. 
  • Five (5) years experience working with digital communications programs. 
  • Five (5) years consumer products marketing experience. 
  • Five (5) years experience working with outside advertising, creative agencies and fulfillment vendors. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with direct and cross functional teams. 
  • Strong consumer awareness and insight development skills. 
  • Strong leadership and project management skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills in the development of ROI assessments.
