Responsible for coordination and implementation of marketing efforts for products and brands sold through the designer channel (i.e. dealers and franchises) with the objective of profitably growing the retail segment of our business.

Selling Support Programs and Initiatives (60%)

  • Coordinate with Channel Manager, Product Managers, and the Sales department to facilitate the development of sampling, new selling materials, displays and related merchandise i.e., product information guides, advertising planners, product displays, display stuffers, product literature, sample books, pricing, sell sheets, louver selectors, dealer launch kits, etc.
  • Develop and execute dealer and end user promotions to gain market share.
  • In collaboration with appropriate sales managers, make presentations to dealers, fabricators and others (including internal associates) as required.
  • Work with product managers to develop and implement comprehensive training materials and selling tools.
  • Coordinate lead generation program and financing program with outside vendor(s).
  • Coordinate and communicate rebate promotions with outside vendor(s).

Channel Strategy and Planning (20%)

  • Research sales potential and market viability for product by sales channel and recommend penetration strategies.
  • Work with Sr. Channel Manager and/or Channel Manager on development and implementation of long-range plans and competitive strategies for business unit.

Run the Business (20%)

  • Preparation and implementation of marketing plan and sales forecast.
  • Obtain thorough knowledge of SWF product lines.
  • Obtain thorough knowledge of competitive product lines, pricing and market activity.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with emphasis in Marketing 
  • 0-3 years of marketing or sales experience is required 
  • Prefer experience with a consumer goods company 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be a skilled problem solver with good writing and presentation skills. 
  • Must have proficient analytical and marketing, skills. 
  • Must be comfortable with financial information, margin analysis, ROI calculations, etc. 
  • Must be proficient with MS Excel and Word along with possessing good written and verbal communication skills.
