The Content Producer leads video content projects and is responsible for their success. At GMR success is defined not only as on time and on budget, but meeting client marketing and business requirements in a way that demonstrates creativity. Our Content Producers manage not only internal creative and development project teams, but any other outside resources supporting the projects. Ideally our content producers are proficient with offline editing tools and basic principles of videography.

  • Create and manage project timelines to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time and within budget
  • Manage production teams and the process on all jobs from a top level and serve as an escalation point for client and internal issues as they arise
  • Must be able to lead and or, actively participate in the creative process from ideation, script writing, through post
  • Involved in all project kick off meetings to help determine team strategy, milestones, scope and production schedule
  • Develop working relationships with clients on a regular basis, ensuring clients’ understanding of each project and satisfaction with the production processes
  • Conduct resource and requirement gathering meetings with client along with executive producer
  • Understand the capabilities and limitations of each member involved on any particular job
  • Supervise QA process alongside technical and production teams on projects
  • Communicate project production status directly to upper management department
  • Adheres to proper file management techniques to ensure efficient archiving and subsequent retrieval of projects.
  • Help contribute to and encourage new ‘production processes’ for our designers, developers, producers in order to accommodate expansion of the company services and the new types of work we bring in
  • Be a skilled, creative and confident presenter and negotiator
  • At least 3-5 years of hands on producing experience in the in the video and digital field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be an expert storyteller
  • Ability to oversee general production of multiple projects at one time
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premiere, as an editing tool
  • Knowledge and proficiency of editing and basic videography
  • Has worked in an advertising agency, or commercial production company
  • Must have a reel that demonstrates experience in the above skills
