The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for the development and implementation AllianceRx Walgreens Prime’s digital communications channels, including the company intranet. It’s a unique opportunity to get involved in the investigation, planning and execution of this new company’s digital infrastructure for both internal and external audiences.

In addition to playing a key role in the evaluation and implementation of the new channels, this position is responsible for creating and maintaining the visual design, site navigation and site content. This requires significant partnership with IT and implementation teams. This person will also be responsible for coordinating with key stakeholders, training users, and monitoring the health ofthe underlying technology. This person may also be responsible for some of the content that will be on the site.

This role will be hired by and report to Prime Therapeutics, but will have strong dotted lines to AllianceRx Walgreens Prime.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the communications planning for development and implementation of a new intranet site 
  • Partner closely with IT and other key stakeholders and software vendors on technical questions for implementation 
  • Ensure proper coordination between the IT Department and intranet software vendors 
  • Create and maintain sound site navigation (information architecture) 
  • Create and maintain meaningful measurement and report on key performance indicators 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and involve them in planning and problem solving 
  • Communicate actively with all main stakeholder and user groups 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or public relations, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience 
  • 5-7 years of experience implementing and/or managing web sites or intranets

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Possess excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as superior project and time management skills 
  • Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity, and continue to drive projects forward with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear 
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms 
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch 
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
