Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in growing the company’s social media presence by developing engaging content, and monitoring and communicating – including outside normal operating hours – with online communities.
  • Author/edit and maintain calendar of social media channel communications, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting/analysis of social media analytics.
  • Assist in the monitoring of online reputation management practices through daily monitoring and reports.
  • Assist in maintaining master media lists by market, distributing press communications, archiving media coverage and providing support for media training for associates.
  • Assist the Communications Director in organizing, producing and communicating innovative active media corporate communication tools – podcasts, corporate video spots, presentation materials, etc.
  • Coordinate corporate communication copy, including brand messaging/copywriting, also assisting with internal and external publications, corporate news releases and other related projects.
  • Research, design and implement successful marketing communication timelines and plans on a variety of topics to support corporate, bank, wealth management and subsidiary initiatives.
  • Research media coverage and pitch opportunities for various lines of business and subsidiaries.
  • Develop formal speeches, remarks and talking points as requested.
  • Develop professional awards submissions for associate-related activities and industry-wide awards and recognition programs.
  • Other projects and initiatives as assigned.

Education:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • Requires 2 or more years of communication experience.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while keeping projects on course
  • Communication disciplines such as public relations, advertising, marketing and graphic design
