Kalmbach Publishing Co. has a new and exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Coordinator to join our Waukesha office. Reporting to the Director of Digital Content, this individual will work with editors, writers and digital marketing across various Kalmbach brands to facilitate and implement digital content strategy, including repurposing and repackaging existing content for new uses.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and repackage content to meet traffic and revenue goals. 
  • Communicate with brand editors and staff to create and maintain standards for their brand websites. 
  • Assist in the development and execution of brand social media strategy to meet goals. 
  • Continually build knowledge base on best practices for digital content and serve as a resource in this area for staff across brands. 
  • Measure effectiveness of efforts and report on results. 
  • Collaborate with other departments Digital Marketing, Online, Advertising, Art and Video Services to develop ideas and troubleshoot problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field and 2-4+ years of experience in digital advertising or website/social media management 
  • Experience with website content-management systems, social media management, and Google Analytics preferred. 
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products. 
  • Photoshop/video editing skills and experience with InCopy are a plus. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and the ability to understand complex information and communicate it in simple terms to various audiences.
