What you will do:

The Digital Content Manager will lead a cross-functional team team to ensure QBP’s digital content presence is shop able, accurate, comprehensive and up to date throughout QBP’s digital channels. This person will also be responsible for a continuous evaluation of market trends to create promotions and sales opportunities through visually appealing, informative, and accurate digital experiences. This role will develop online merchandising strategies for product content, contribute to digital product launches and promotions, ensure product is discoverable, develop and refine product standards for product descriptions and images. Develop up selling and cross-sell strategies and A/B testing criteria, all with intent to drive sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading, developing and strengthening a cross-functional product content team that ensures product content is shop-able, informative, accurate and complete before going online 
  • Responsible for product setup, product categorization, merchandise presentation and optimization of the content creation process 
  • Responsible for improving product content acquisition process from suppliers and sourcing appropriate product content such as videos, written copy, images etc. in keeping with brand tone of voice 
  • Ensure product descriptions, attributes, images and video assets are optimized to sell and create demand for product 
  • Create rich, consistent product information 
  • Develop and lead digital merchandise strategies and processes using sales, competitor information, market analysis, and website analytics that increase customer satisfaction, engagement and purchases 
  • Develop strategies for differentiated website shopping experiences for key customer segments 
  • Audit, refine and define product presentation standards across product categories 
  • Continuous testing, reporting and implementing change based on results 
  • Maximize product cross sell and upsells to increase units per transaction 
  • Participate in determining potential sales of products and services online

What you need to succeed:

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in relevant retail e-commerce product management, merchandising and marketing 
  • 4-year college degree OR 10 years of professional experience 
  • Experience managing a large assortment of product online 
  • Self-directed and capable of developing and leading a cross-functional team 
  • Excellent understanding of digital landscape (digital marketing, online merchandising, web development) 
  • Expertise in SEO and SEM 
  • Excellent understanding of CMS and PCM/PIM software 
  • Excellent organization and communication skills 
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics or similar analytical tools 
  • Ability to generate insights from analysis, communicate and work with business partners to drive results 
  • Proficiency with HTML and basic CSS 
  • Familiarity with personalization and behavioral targeting 
  • Able to manage multiple projects effectively 
  • A passion for bikes and the cycling industry
