J. J. Keller’s E-Commerce team is a high energy, dynamic group of marketers, writers, web designers, analysts, and developers. The Ecommerce Digital Marketing Manager is a key leadership role on the team who will leverage the digital channel to accomplish business objectives and will serve as a tactical strategist, focused both on big picture and execution to create efficient and effective solutions. This role reports to the Director of Ecommerce & Inbound Sales, and has a focus on collaboration and cooperation working with marketing line directors to achieve business line objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops and coaches team: Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition; Participates in the hiring/selection process; Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports; Handles associate relations issues
  • Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities: Online billings and lead objectives by line; Direct marketing-generated billings by line; New customer acquisition targets; Email billings and leads objectives; PPC billings and lead objectives at acceptable E/R; Associate retention; Budget control
  • With input from line owners, leverages customer insights, analytics and market trends to develop and oversees execution of E-Commerce marketing plans.
  • Monitors JJKeller.com site usage reports/statistics and implements re-direction of activities to maximize site effectiveness.
  • Oversees corporate email marketing program to effectively leverage customer contacts to effectively meet all Business Line billings and leads objectives while optimizing program to ensure long-term viability of list health.
  • Directs online merchandising and search results tuning to optimize billings/leads.
  • Manages team responsible for timely response to customer-generated content including product reviews and questions.
  • Oversees execution of corporate social media marketing and response.
  • Oversees dissemination of regular reporting to internal stakeholders on success of JJKeller.com initiatives and operations. Completes full analysis of online promotional programs throughout their life cycle including development, justification, expected return and post-program evaluation. Reports out findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Serves as a liaison between E-Commerce and Product Marketing, Services Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Editorial staff to work collaboratively and identify potential marketing and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Manages relationship with digital marketing vendors.
  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensures that staff follows these same guidelines.
  • Manages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions.
  • Enforces and support all company policies and procedures. Fully support the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strives to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.

The E-Commerce Digital Marketing Manager requires a solid knowledge of integrated marketing strategies with a stong background in data analysis used to inform recommendations and decisions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related field; Marketing degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience leading teams responsible for digital marketing techniques including SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • 7+ years of Marketing experience inboth transactional and lead generation digital marketing, ideally B2B.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop and implement growth plans and programs, managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Adept at conversion optimization for both direct sell and lead generation business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Internet and e-commerce applications, traditional direct marketing
  • Ability to lead and execute e-commerce marketing plans and strategies with input from multiple business units.
  • Ability to perform market analysis, response rate and lead generation analysis, develop customer and visitor profiles.
  • Skilled in a variety of online & offline analytics tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
