If you are able to displaying strong, innovative, and passionate work and excited about being able to participate in the development of graphic design solutions that support Marketing Communications’ initiatives, programs, and product launches this could be your ideal role! You will participate in the development and refinement of the marketing communication materials for print and digital, while adhering to the Medtronic brand, meeting customer requirements, and delivering best-in-class innovative solutions.

A Day in the Life:

  • Creative Development. Participate in the development of graphic design materials that support CRHF marketing launches and programs. Percent of time: 60% 
  • Presentation. Participate in the presentation of graphic design solutions using professional methods, including PowerPoint and Keynote. Percent of time: 5% 
  • Collaboration. Work closely with CRHF Marketing Communications specialists, project managers, team graphic designers, and external vendors to execute design concepts. Percent of time: 10% 
  • Negotiation. Communicate about project changes in a positive and professional manner. Negotiate alterations with communication specialist and Marketing while ensuring project objectives are maintained. Percent of time: 5% 
  • Project Management. Balance multiple projects and clients while ensuring quality, deadlines, and budgets are maintained. Percent of time: 10% 
  • Quality Control. Ensure accuracy by understanding and applying the master brand guidelines, creative process, and internal proofing. Percent of time: 5% 
  • Master Brand. Participate in rollout of Medtronic master brand. Conduct brand training for CVG staff as well as external vendors and agencies. Percent of time: 5%

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 2+ years experience working in an advertising agency or internal creative department 
  • Project Management experience

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design 
  • Medical device industry knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry
