Interstate Parking Company and Interstate Development Partners has an exciting opportunity for you to join a dedicated team of professionals as our Marketing and Strategy Analyst in our Milwaukee based corporate headquarters. This is a cross functional position that will report directly to the company Sales and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and interprets financial and operational results of targets through the preparation of various complex analyses by reviewing financial and market performance.
  • Conducts external research and financial analysis and provides recommendations to build the business unit growth plans.
  • Assists sales, marketing, product management, finance with creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial and non-financial business metrics and creates action plans to grow the products business.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and develop solutions to product quality issues.
  • Conduct research and analysis on category competitors, industry trends and other developments.
  • Work closely with other departments on pricing, purchasing, products and sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and tracking of sales and marketing programs for the company.
  • Recommending various strategies and tactics including market sizing and projection, sales targeting, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future development.
  • Proactively identify business issues, opportunities, and information needs, analyze complex market research in response to the issues and needs identified and develop the recommendations.
  • Generate, analyze and present reports for management.
  • Aggregate data across a variety of sources to gain insights to help drive business decisions.

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and analytical ability to calculate revenue impact resulting from sales objectives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in implementing and utilizing sales tracking software.
  • Desire for performance-based compensation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Knowledge in SQL or Python is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques
  • Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail 3-5 years of experience in decision analytics, finance, marketing, market research and/or business operations.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team members and influence team members to use data to drive improvements in organization performance.
  • The qualified candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business with a major in finance or a bachelor’s degree plus related work experience as a marketing or strategy analyst.
