The Marketing Assistant will work with the Director of Marketing in our Brookfield, WI location. This position is part-time, 20-25 hours/week, year-round. Candidates must be outgoing, quick learners, self-starters, and capable of working with little supervision in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate is able to multi-task, work under moderate pressure and pay strict attention to detail with a great positive attitude.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

  • Retouch and resize photographs
  • Assist with design and production of brochures, flyers, e-blasts, social media posts, etc.
  • Website updates

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Update existing social media accounts and create new accounts as required
  • Research, write and develop content for social media postings
  • Monitor social media accounts and track activity

EVENTS

  • Coordinate monthly events and manage vendors
  • Some evening hours may be required

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO

  • Photograph various homes for marketing materials
  • Gather quotes and manage photographers
  • Create slideshows/videos

COPYWRITING

  • Write polished copy for marketing materials, listings, or events
  • Proofread content

FIELD WORK

  • Set Up & Removal of marketing materials at model homes and staffed ready homes
  • Technology Troubleshooting (Internet, Sonos Systems, Printers, etc…)
  • Run errands/shop for supplies

OTHER

  • Build and help maintain lists
  • Research communities and advertising opportunities
  • Order & Design Signage
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with social media sites and up-to-date technology
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable automobile, auto insurance coverage, and smart phone
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Occasional walking, sitting and standing for extended periods of time

Compensation determined by criteria including education, previous experience, and skill-level.
