We’re seeking an energetic and ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team in Madison, Wisconsin.

We’re looking for a self-starter with a flair for flexibility, data-driven curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. This person will focus on coordinating and planning marketing events and webinars, leverage our marketing automation platform to assist in developing and launching direct email campaigns, manage various database projects and coordinate various social media and other digital marketing initiatives. The goal of this role is to help drive a compelling experience with all Esker prospects and customers to drive revenue and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and launch marketing campaigns in automation platform (Marketo)
  • Monitor, analyze and report on marketing campaign performance 
  • Support data integrity in both Marketo and CRM system (salesforce.com)
  • Assist with event coordination including: pre and post show promotion, on-site logistics, event registration, shipping, and budget tracking
  • Assist in the planning and production of webinars and other live events
  • Manage our prospect and customer database including creating, uploading and updating lists, segmenting data and list hygiene
  • A/B testing to identify successful emails, landing pages and social ads
  • Travelling to various event locations throughout the year 
  • Lead management duties such as list importing, cleaning and reporting
  • Scheduling speakers for webinars and onsite speaking sessions
  • Submitting deliverables to vendors for events and webinars
  • Conduct and interpret market research and analysis

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in something that proves you are a tech savvy marketer
  • 1 year of experience in marketing operations with focus on B2B lead generation
  • Experience with Marketing automation platforms a plus (Marketo experience a major plus)
  • CRM system experience a plus, specifically salesforce.com
  • Strong understanding of how to develop marketing messaging and to personalize for different segments
  • Strong organizational skills to set priorities and manage time 
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills to work on a close-knit team
  • Motivation and willingness to take ownership of a wide variety of projects in a collaborative environment
  • Flexibility and adaptation to constant change, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of coworkers
  • High attention to detail, self-starter attitude, and focus on quality output 
  • A tendency to do great work regardless of the task
  • Ability and desire to travel to event locations
