The Marketing Manager will focus on leading two marketing areas, BAI Membership and Solutions Provider sponsorship marketing. The individual will lead BAI’s organizational and individual membership marketing and product management efforts to meet specified goals and objectives. The individual in this role will engage with leaders at BAI to develop new membership benefits and product enhancements, ensuring continuous membership integration throughout the organization. This individual is also responsible for BAI sponsorship marketing campaigns and tools, including collaborating with the BAI sponsorship sales team and product owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute BAI membership marketing strategies and tactics to drive awareness, benefit usage and membership growth to achieve financial targets and performance objectives. 
  • Monitor and track the usage of BAI membership products/benefits. 
  • Collaborate across the organization to identify new BAI membership products/benefits or enhancements to current products/benefits. 
  • Stay attuned to market trends, best practices, competition, client needs, pricing and other factors that may impact sales and key marketing messages. 
  • Manage and maintain BAI membership database of members and key contacts in CRM system. 
  • Develop and execute BAI sponsorship marketing strategies and tactics to create sales leads, nurture prospects and influence the sales funnel. 
  • Collaborate with BAI sponsorship sales team and product owners to achieve financial targets and performance objectives. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in business-to-business marketing, preferably with a focus on association membership programs. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, planning and project management skills. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the sales and marketing process with an emphasis on awareness building, lead generation and marketing campaign management. 
  • Strong ability to proactively work collaboratively in a team environment – especially with sales teams. 
  • Motivated and independent, with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of CRM and other database systems.
