CFSI is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Director of Brand, the Manager will be primarily responsible for the marketing execution of research papers and grant deliverables. The Manager will also perform key administrative tasks for the Marketing and Communications team, including project management, budget and resource tracking, and post-project analysis.

LOCATION:

Flexible: this role will be based in CFSI's Chicago or New York office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the marketing of research and key thought leadership pieces, including the development of distribution plans and timelines, managing content design (layout and execution for various marketing platforms) and working with key amplifiers to maximize content exposure. 
  • Works closely with other members of the MarCom team to ensure coordination with CFSI’s communications, digital output, social media, and network marketing efforts. 
  • Works with an external designer to manage report layout and brand design assets 
  • Leads the project management and technical aspects of public webinars, including being responsible for registration numbers, pre- and post- communications and reporting on engagement 
  • Manages the team’s editorial calendar, which includes the traffic management of emails, newsletters, and social media communications with input from network marketing team 
  • Develops and manages the process of archiving marketing assets, including cataloging publications, digital assets, photography and videography 
  • Supports content and agenda development for key CFSI events, including the annual EMERGE Financial Health Forum and Network Summit 
  • Manages the Marcom team budget, tracking invoices and managing regular reforecasting processes. 
  • Leads in resource and capacity management, working closely with Marcom leadership team to track project hours and estimate capacity needs for projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in marketing and communications 
  • Strong writing and organizational/project management skills with ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Experience with presentation design and execution 
  • Experience managing external design or production vendors preferred 
  • Supervision/management of interns may be required over time

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
