The Project Manager, Creative Services is part of the DSI Marketing Department, and works under the supervision of the Senior Director of Production Services. The Project Manager utilizes excellent communication skills, organization and time-management practices to accomplish given tasks. The Project Manager will monitor and manage projects from kick-off through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate is a stickler for detail and for quality control at every step of the process.

Essential Job Functions Responsibilities:

  • Leads scope discovery process for projects; engages appropriate creative resources
  • Prepares project resource estimates; monitors costs throughout project to ensure budget adherence 
  • Develops project plans and schedules; monitors progress throughout to ensure schedule adherence 
  • Documents relevant project data and information throughout the project cycle 
  • Recognizes client expectations and communicates with the client at each phase Schedules meetings associated with individual projects 
  • Report on monthly LOB budgets (and project level data if requested) 
  • Collaborate with peers to balance work with other projects in the marketing servicesenvironment 
  • Introduce innovative ideas that will bring maturity to project planning, execution, reporting, and project management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field 2 years of experience managing projects from conception to completion 
  • Superior critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to break down a large, complex project into individual, actionable tasks 
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to meet and manage deadlines on multiple planned and unplanned projects running concurrently 
  • Strong communication skills; can express expectations clearly to project teams 
  • Strong written skills; ability to represent project needs via written documentation 
  • Acute attention to detail; dedication to quality assurance and follow-through 
  • Comfortable working productively in a creative team atmosphere 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, with demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly
