Overview:

The Marketing Specialist role manages the administration of catalog development and distribution, maintains product information and price lists, and supports the development of various marketing materials.

Key Tasks:

  • Manages the administration of program catalogs, price lists, new product announcements, parts announcements, franchisee communications, photography, web site, and PowerPoint slides as required. 
  • Maintain and manage product data and images in marketing database. 
  • Reporting and database maintenance, assure complete and timely upload of product information. 
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Graphic Design Specialist, Marketing Specialists, creative agency, and suppliers to facilitate in catalog development. 
  • Support Customer Connection Manager with forecasting catalog quantities and monitoring forecasted amounts on a weekly basis to ensure catalog quantities remain within budget.
  • Secure photography for all product images through maintaining relationships with photo vendors, scheduling photo workflow, ordering products, maintaining photo standards and approving completed images. 
  • Order and return product required for magazines, sales meetings, conventions and product placement for adverting and PR. Execute other marketing related projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Graphic Design, Business or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet customer requirements and deadlines 
  • Excellent communication skills - copywriting experience preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Understanding of CMS software to enable positing of product information on the portable and web. 
  • Technologies: Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of database input software, i.e. Marketers Studio and Asset Manager to enable input of copy and images. Graphic Design software a plus.
