The Media Relations Strategist is responsible for developing and executing proactive earned media strategies to raise the visibility of the organization and the specialty of pathology. Primary responsibilities include serving as the primary point person for all media and public relations activity including overall management of adverse events and crisis communications, working closely with communication team partners aligned to specific business functions (advocacy communications, laboratory quality communications, internal communications, membership communications, brand writing, etc.) as well as business unit subject matter experts.
