SeQuel Response, a fast-growing direct marketing agency with offices in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Madison, Wisconsin seeks a bright, energetic, and analytical digital marketing professional to join our performance-driven team as a digital media analyst. This exciting position requires demonstrated experience in paid search (Google, Bing), paid social (Facebook, Instagram), web analytics and the principles of conversion rate optimization. The successful candidate will also be a creative, critical thinking data geek, who can find the signal in the noise and use these insights to continually improve campaign performance.

In this role you will:

  • Plan, execute, analyze and optimize paid search, display, video, paid social and mobile campaigns
  • Conduct keyword and audience research and make recommendations to establish client budgets
  • Continually optimize campaigns using all available tactics including ad copy, bidding, quality score, landing page testing, funnel analysis, web analytics and machine learning
  • Analyze and report on KPIs including CTR, CPC, CR, CPL and CPA by client, campaign and channel
  • Use data and analytics to derive insights, develop hypotheses and generate test plans aimed at meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Deploy and manage tracking pixels and tags with Google Tag Manager and ensure their proper function
  • Prepare regular reports using data from multiple sources including ad platforms and web analytics tools
  • Use strong written and verbal skills to communicate to internal teams and clients
  • Stay informed on the rapidly changing digital marketing landscape and provide recommendations on the adoption of technology and machine learning to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns
  • Gain understanding of client products/services, verticals, business models and competition through client provided research and independent study, and apply this knowledge to make recommendations for improving campaign performance
  • Collaborate with staff working in traditional media channels to integrate and leverage marketing strategies
  • Self-manage execution of activities against deadlines across multiple clients, projects and work streams

Position requirements include:  

  • B.A./B.S. degree required; Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Sciences, or Economics preferred
  • Google Adwords, Google Analytics Certifications
  • 1-3 years of experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns
  • High proficiency in Excel, including: pivot tables, V/H look-ups, concatenation, macros, etc.
  • Ability to derive insights, draw conclusions, make decisions and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Time management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • High personal accountability, integrity and ethics
  • Commitment to continual, self-directed learning
