You’re an excellent production artist, schooled in design. You go gaga for a great font. You don’t ask people “What’s your sign?” but rather “Do you have that in a higher resolution?” You know how to pair words, graphics and images to turn basic copy into an incredible, compelling story and you can do it in a timely way. You like agency life, but are eager to try something new serving an internal client. And, you’re professional and mature enough to work with senior leaders every day.

You’re eager to keep your heart rate up by the tight deadlines and last-minute edits of new business and you relish the chance to produce clever content pieces. That’s why Bader Rutter wants you to be the production artist for the marketing team. This internal group serves Bader Rutter as its client and we want to reward you for your speed and accuracy and we’ll give you extra points if you don’t bad-mouth PowerPoint. We know you’re good — kerning off kilter or leading that’s a let-down keeps you up at night. But enough about you, what about us? Here’s why we want you:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production artist. 
  • You have a B.S. or a B.A. in graphic design or a similar field. 
  • You’re highly organized and don’t just meet deadlines; you’re driven to always do the best work, no matter what it takes.
  • You’re a team player — you know that success for one is success for all. 
  • You’re a master of the Adobe Suite (special focus on InDesign and Photoshop) and you can handle Microsoft Office, too (especially PowerPoint). 
  • You love a good font, you make the most of white space and you’re comfortable bringing image and graphic treatment ideas to the table. 
  • You know that form can be beautiful, but when presenting information to others, function takes the lead and you can marry the two effectively. 
  • You have great costume ideas for our holiday party and are not opposed to joining Treat Club.
