JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for handling all aspects related to the graphic design production needs in the Creative Department. This role will have a working understanding of layout, type, and color and work closely with designers to create a complete layout, as well as, producing final files for print.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for supporting internal design production needs system-wide for Home Office and Regional Teams.
  • Coordinate and support marketing efforts for Company and Franchise locations in local store marketing projects which may include: producing print ads, collateral brochures, billboards, web banners, training manuals, and direct mail pieces.
  • Will work directly with multiple department teams within the Home Office to help manage, support, and create a cohesive brand for Buffalo Wild Wings.
  • Maintain, organize and inventory all creative files (paper and electronic) for each project including examples for future references.
  • Manage the workload of the freelancers assigning jobs to them based on the current production needs in the department.
  • Handle project/traffic managing for all production and field level requests.
  • Assist in the system administrator duties of Workfront project management software

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with all printed pieces within the creative standards as specified by BWW Marketing Team. This includes helping to advise multiple departments within the Home Office on various designs currently being utilized to align Brand to ensure consistent message to our Guest, Team Members, and Franchise networks. 
  • Support Creative department on follow-up with our Franchise owners to ensure Brand compliance as necessary. 
  • Support and validate Franchisees to ensure brand compliance is within spec. 
  • Assist in creative team’s production schedules to ensure on-time completion of time sensitive materials at Home Office and Field. These materials may include items such as menu roll-outs, special promotional events, etc.
  • Manage inquiries from agency and vendors regarding BWW Style guidelines, procedures, capabilities, pricing, invoicing, etc. 
  • Ability to handle a significant workload and effectively prioritize projects with a high degree of autonomy 
  • Has to make sure that deliverables that have been created can actually be produced 
  • Maintains relationships with printing vendors to complete job assignments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required -

  • 4 year degree in Graphic Design production or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in graphic design/print production industry
  • Ability to work closely and at ease with all levels of staff and management from the store level to the corporate office
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Fully proficient in the following: Adobe Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, and Acrobat
  • Knowledge and competency in: MS office, Mac OS and Macintosh troubleshooting
  • Thorough understanding of digital pre-press, file management, and printing limitations
