Our headquarters are in Burlington, WI and our products are made in USA. Our customers include hardware stores, home improvement retailers and plumbing wholesalers. We are growing and need your expertise.

Lavelle is recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team to support sales growth strategies through new product placement and market share growth of strategic products. This position will support the retail aftermarket channels of distribution. Please note that travel can be 30-50% during peak travel seasons, so candidates must be open to flexible travel schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase percent of stores selling and market share via product knowledge training and sales presentations
  • Represent Lavelle Industries at customer and industry tradeshows
  • Spend time in the field to gain insight into customer needs
  • Act as master trainer for customer training events
  • Develop “Genius” level toilet repair knowledge
  • Utilization of a scientific approach to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Execute promotional plans through customer promotional vehicles, such as cross-merchandising, end caps and side stack displays
  • Provide support to the internal sales team by development of presentation and sales support materials
  • Monitor, analyze and report out POS data, inventory trend data, voice of the customer and vendor performance
  • Analyze vendor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Develop marketing support and materials tailored to our customers

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree focus in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Business preferred
  • Effective communication – written and oral
  • Relevant internships and project work
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience a plus
  • Proficient with the Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting aftermarket hardware accounts is a major plus!
