*Direct the development of all marketing, brand communications, digital materials, including print and online advertising, email marketing, web site management and content development, multimedia and marketing collateral.
*Work closely with key leaders throughout Bethesda to develop integrated, multi-channel marketing and communication plans for Bethesda’s key services, programs and strategic initiatives. Ensure proper planning and tracking are in place.
*Create communication plans to deliver targeted and segmented messages to Bethesda constituencies including donors, providers, families, congregations, referral sources and other key influencers.
*Lead efforts to enhance Bethesda’s digital platforms. Including increasing consumer engagement with Bethesda’s website, use of future apps, use of future communities of interest and other digital tools to connect consumers with the brand.
*Responsible for developing content that position’s Bethesda as a thought leader and a provider of inspiration/faith related materials.
*Oversee the design and copy production for all of Bethesda’s print and electronic collateral (letterhead, use of logo, website, emails, brochures, etc.).
*Work in partnership with Philanthropy leadership to develop effective strategies and communications to improve our donor efforts and results.
*Work in partnership with the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications and PR to ensure campaigns and initiatives are fully integrated and multiple channels are used to ensure maximum success.
*Direct marketing department calendars and ensure proper planning, deadlines and deliverables are met.
*Direct the efforts of outside agencies that assist Bethesda in creative development, media placement, consumer research and special projects.
*Lead a team of marketers including digital, content development, design and brand strategy.
*Establish and manage annual budget, department dashboard and reporting for all brand and web related activities.
