Ecolab is seeking candidates for a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist in their Healthcare business. This position is responsible for supporting marketing communications strategies and plans that strengthen our brand, differentiate Ecolab from its competitors and expand our presence in the healthcare industry.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with developing marketing communications program materials and is involved in leading various communication projects and/or participating in planning parts of larger projects, including digital content management 
  • Manage multiple communications activities, including technical and/or promotional writing and design (print and online), audio and video production and development, and management of digital communications 
  • Proactively suggests communication strategies and tactics that deliver against product/business objectives and enhance the Ecolab brand reputation and experience 
  • Evaluates messages and creative against brand strategy to ensure consistency 
  • Ensure that information in all marketing communications channels, including print, audio/video and social/digital, is accurate and issued on a timely basis 
  • Work with marketing managers and cross-functional partners to stay abreast of marketing programs, projects and launch plans 
  • Uses problem-solving skills to communicate complex messages in a variety of communication forms to varying audiences 
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services 
  • Travel 5-10% based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5 years of professional experience in Marketing Communications and integrated promotional campaigns 
  • Experience in web content management system and email marketing system such as Sitecore and Marketing cloud 
  • Strong writing, editing, design, professional printing and publishing skills 
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work within monthly and weekly deadlines 
  • Proficient with Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) 
  • Team player that is reliable, flexible, positive and works in a collaborative environment 
  • Strong technical and/or promotional writing and design skills 
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English 
  • 8 years of professional experience in Marketing Communications and integrated promotional campaigns 
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.com 
  • Knowledge of SEO optimization, as it relates to website content creation and management 
  • Healthcare industry experience 
  • A positive attitude and tactful communication, even under pressure 
  • Team player mindset that is reliable, flexible, and works in a collaborative environment 
  • Ability to lead others by influence and develop strong relationships across the organization (Sales, Marketing, Functional Partners) 
  • Ability to listen and synthesize concepts from others 
  • Experience working with agencies 
  • Highly collaborative working style 
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of sales and management 
  • Excellent time management, and organizational skills with strong attention for detail, accuracy, and consistency
