Drucker Group, a 15-year-old marketing strategy and communications firm in the Rosemont business corridor, is seeking an experienced concept/copy writer to develop creative campaigns that defy the typical B2B tripe and help sell our clients’ brands in all forms of media.

Using the research-driven insights from our consulting team, this position conceives, pitches and produces integrated marketing campaigns and develops creative assets for Drucker Group clients. To be considered you must have strong concept skills, a strategic bent and a portfolio (we don't even care if most of it is spec) that demonstrates the real talent inside your head. If you join us, you’re going to be working in a very casual atmosphere with a lot of freedom to let loose your creative chops.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with agency team to develop creative themes, concepts and copy for client projects 
  • Provide creative direction for client presentations and new business pitches 
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers and multimedia team to bring ideas to life 
  • Insure creative is executed within strategy framework, deadlines and budgets 
  • Understand our client's business, brand and marketing objectives 
  • Manage multiple clients and projects from a creative leadership perspective

Qualifications:

  • You’ve got at least 5 years’ experience doing print and digital; the ability to write stories short and sweet, and a warped sense of humor 
  • Writing experience on a variety of projects, from advertising, collateral, digital and video 
  • A strong portfolio/reel of work 
  • Outstanding writing and conceptual development skills along with excellent communication/presentation skills
