Year-round Social Media Intern:

This will be a part-time ongoing internship located in Chicago.

Dynamics of the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join TransUnion’s Talent Acquisition team as a year-round Social Media Intern supporting our recruitment marketing campaign and cross functional projects across the company. In this role, you will collaborate across the Human Resources and Marketing departments to create content on many new initiatives that include recruitment marketing, on-boarding new hires to TransUnion and global roll out of recruiting programs. How You’ll Contribute:

  • Assist program manager with global recruitment marketing campaigns in North America, South America, Africa, India and Asia Pacific markets, as well as careers website content creation 
  • Create recruitment-focused content for multi-channel distribution including LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, Twitter, The Muse, digital advertisements, print and campus recruiting material, as well as managing various social media initiatives such as takeovers, social media contests and more 
  • Manage content calendar and cadence of social media posts with Corporate Marketing 
  • Maintain and update TransUnion profile on various sites such as Glassdoor, ITA, Kununu, The Muse, etc. 
  • Assist program manager in associate engagement and external recruitment marketing events 
  • Conduct digital audits of TransUnion media channels in various markets 
  • Ongoing ambassador and associate engagement including communications and events 
  • Provide logistical support for photo and video shoots in all markets 
  • Manage metrics and ROI for attraction methods: Job Postings (Dice, CB, Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, The Muse), sponsored campaigns (LinkedIn, Glassdoor), Social (Instagram, Facebook, etc) 
  • Weave employment brand guidelines throughout the employee experience including our new hire orientation and on-boarding processes 
  • Ad hoc project work, create presentations, and general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team

What You’ll Bring:

  • Prior internship experience in recruitment marketing, employer brand or social media is highly preferred 
  • Pursuing degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Creative Writing or Graphic Design preferred 
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but also complete individual work 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Photoshop Lightroom 
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, with competing priorities 
  • Keen attention to detail and solid writing skills 
  • Motivation and ability to execute project work from ideation to implementation
