Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate workshop logistics including catering, hotel/dorm blocks, ground transportation, workshop materials, etc.)
Serve as main point person for logistical planning and coordination for the annual Earth Educators’ Rendezvous conference.
Assist with coordinating and promoting activities and events including workshops and presence at major academic conferences (AGU/GSA).
Develop and implement NAGT advertising sales including:
- Manage the ad process (submissions, deadlines, follow up and ad specs).
- Identify, contact and recruit potential clients.
- Promote advertising and marketing materials and strategies.
- Create and maintain client accounts.
- Research and analyze Internet sales and advertising trends.
- Gather and organize information to help with decision-making regarding media placement, campaign length, featured products and services, and technical details.
Assist in marketing, outreach, publicity and award nominations for SERC, NAGT, and SERC’s numerous collaborating projects.
