Receive valuable experience working in a fast-paced and professional development office as a member of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Special Events team!

Support the Special Events team in all Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals related campaigns and events. Intern will be responsible for coordinating logistics, developing promotional materials, soliciting participation, coordinating volunteers and patient families and other duties as assigned. This is a great opportunity to work on several corporate partner campaigns from start to finish. 

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • An interest in special event fund raising 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Creativity/Enthusiasm 
  • Organizational skills - Ability to manage time and meet numerous deadlines 
  • Interpersonal skills - will work with volunteers and staff 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Car for local travel, minimal. (Mileage will be reimbursed) 
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.

Intern must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours/week starting July 2017 and ending October 2017. This internship is available for college credit and is not paid.
