Mecum Auctions, the world’s largest collector-car auction company, is in search of a Sponsorship Account Manager. It is the role of the Sponsorship Account Manager to establish and maintain relationships with Mecum’s key and ancillary corporate sponsors through daily communication with clients, effectively serving as a liaison between sponsor representatives and Mecum Auctions. This person will be responsible for ensuring all contractual sponsorship rights are delivered and tracked in relation to strategic branding and through the coordination of sponsor hospitality and special events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communication and planning for corporate sponsors 
  • Serve as liaison between sponsor representatives and Mecum Auctions 
  • Facilitate daily communication with clients 
  • Ensure that all sponsorship rights are delivered, activated and tracked 
  • Develop integrated campaigns and fresh approaches to appeal to current and potential sponsors 
  • Coordinate hospitality, admissions, special events and tours as needed 
  • Work with internal teams to achieve sponsor goals and initiatives 
  • Work with external resources as needed 
  • Generate and share post-event reports with sponsors and management

Requirements:

  • Highly organized, enthusiastic individual.
  • Social coommunication skills and ability to network with ad agencies and corporate executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills:  Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to travel, including weekend to our Car Auctions.  See Mecum.com for calendar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising required.
  • 3-5 years of Marketing and/or assoiciated experience required.
  • $55-$65K annual salary depending on experience.
