Office duties will include answering phones, filing, making copies, assisting with event planning, etc. Position dates are Mid-January 2018 - May 2018. Should you remain with the East Town Association until summer 2018, event duties will include some physical labor, customer service, selling of merchandise, set up/tear down, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must have the ability to work under pressure at times and handle high energy events and the attendees at these events. Persons need to be dependable, enthusiastic, personable, comfortable in social settings, dynamic, and eager to learn the event business.
Potential job duties:
- Answering phones,
- Greeting customers in the Office,
- Scheduling meetings,
- Cash transactions,
- Organizing & selling merchandise,
- Setting up & breaking down tables, chairs, bars and other event infrastructure,
- Handling the needs of sponsors,
- Monitoring and Stocking the hospitality area at events,
- Catering to the needs of “VIP” guests,
- Stocking beverages and carting them through the park,
- Running errands around the East Town neighborhood,
- Creating and conducting surveys of Event attendees,
- Performing cleaning duties,
- Other duties as assigned
