The Videographer / Editor is responsible for creating and producing video content as part of theUnitedHealthcareCorporate Communication’s Department. Reporting directly to the Manager, Content and Communications, you’ll work across the team and organization to assist with video/motion graphic projects. The ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and meet strict deadlines is critical.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Shoot / edit wide range of videos in creative and clear manner 
  • Maintain and operate video equipment 
  • Edit footage acquired from external vendors 
  • Work closely with content team to develop and create compelling video content 
  • Assist other teams with video needs 
  • Manage and organize archive of media assets 
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry trends 
  • Develop and produce graphic images, both motion and static, to enhance video production

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 
  • 5+ years of experience producing, editing, and shooting video
  • Experience working with Motion Graphics programs (I.E. After Effects, Flash) (ability to create a basic video using motion graphics) or willingness to learn 
  • Experience working with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other design programs or willingness to learn 
  • Ability to conceptualize video production from start to finish 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (US based travel to conduct interviews both internal and external)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising News or Journalism background
