A typical day for an Account Executive (AE) looks like this: Meeting with clients to discuss projects. Then collaborating with designers and developers and writers to prepare a statement of work. The statement of work includes addressing the specific ask, but also suggests additional creative solutions to help meet project goals—the ideas clients might not have thought about.
The account executive provides the client with a statement of work which also includes a cost estimate and timeline for client input or approval. Upon approval, the AE manages the project from start to finish, including the presentation of conceptual ideas, gathering client input and changes, and managing the timeline and budget set for the project, to finalization.
Additionally, the AE assists with business development efforts including the preparation of sales pitch presentations. They will also handle small writing projects, social media for the organization, and project trafficking.
