Working alongside the agency’s client development and client services teams, this role involves creating new business proposals and RFP responses, interacting with and qualifying prospective clients, managing the agency’s inbound sales process, and maintaining and improving general new business processes and organization. This position requires someone who is self-driven, intrinsically motivated to complete high quality work, and genuinely passionate about digital marketing and people. The ideal candidate has excellent writing and communication skills and is able to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Qualify new prospects that contact NH via phone or website, including leading introductory phone calls to determine fit 
  • Manage the agency’s inbound sales funnel and internal new business process 
  • Assist with the execution of agency marketing initiatives and participate in marketing planning for the agency 
  • Present agency capabilities to viable prospects 
  • Manage external communication with agency prospects 
  • Complete research in support of new business pitches 
  • Develop new business pitches and RFP responses 
  • Develop and write proposals and statements of work 
  • Work with the Executive and Leadership teams for ad hoc requests or project

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in sales and marketing; digital agency experience preferred 
  • College degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred 
  • Self-starter approach to work, positive attitude, and drive to consistently meet and exceed expectations to take on more responsibility – this position requires thinking two steps ahead of what’s needed for a business pitch and proactively making it happen 
  • A strong professional presence, with the confidence and polish to present both internally and externally 
  • Excellent client-facing skills, including emails, phone calls, in-person meetings, presentations, and industry events 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines 
  • Innately curious about digital marketing and intrinsically motivated to learn more about the agency, this industry, and our clients’ / prospective clients’ businesses 
  • Ability to operate within a consultative sales process 
  • Advanced skills with PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; design experience preferred 
  • Basic understanding of social media channels and uses for business promotion
