Position Details

Account Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Minnetonka, MN

If you’re looking for a different type of strategic comms agency, we’re looking for you. We’re seeking an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Minnetonka office. If you thrive on managing multiple accounts, delivering unsurpassed results and client satisfaction and are excited to mentor and motivate our growing staff you may be right for this role.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading multiple client accounts
  • Creating & executing engaging PR/marketing plans that align with client goals
  • Drafting & finalizing solid, compelling written deliverables including press releases, various briefs, pitches, planning documents, marketing copy, etc.
  • Becoming an expert on our clients’ brands, products and relevant industry trends and issues
  • Providing ongoing counsel to clients and account teams
  • Managing PR, marketing and digital initiatives
  • Managing projects using our project management process
  • Participating in the agency’s development
  • Acting as a role model and resource for our staff

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of highly relevant experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Cross-sector experience – tech is a must
  • Strong PR, marketing, content development and digital capabilities and ability to counsel clients
  • Superb communications skills
  • Exceptional writing skills and strategic capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead/manage teams and clients
  • Committed to encouraging client and internal collaboration to inspire great thinking, deliverables and results
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to assisting with new business development and new client activation
  • Proven ability to create & execute plans (PR, marketing, events, project plans, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, PR or related degree
