The Office for Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is seeking to fill a full-time vacancy for an Alumni Engagement Officer.

The Alumni Engagement Officer will lead efforts to create and facilitate a vibrant culture of philanthropy, service, and volunteerism by managing engagement activities that facilitate meaningful alumni participation in university and Alumni Relations programs and events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in volunteer or relationship management in higher education, non-profits, hospitality or related organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative approach and ability to organize complex projects and activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning, alumni activities and/or educational programming
  • Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently to achieve established goals
  • Demonstrated experience in working with databases, websites and social media
