With these objective in mind, we are looking to hire an associate brand marketer who can join the TheraBand team. As an Associate Brand Manager for TheraBand, you will help the Director set the vision and strategy behind the brand. If you join our team, you will be the builder of brand experiences that make a difference for millions of consumers. You will dive right in and work directly on developing marketing plans to build on consumer, shopper and customer insights. You will report to the Director of TheraBand and interact regularly with the head of Global Marketing, our CMO, Head of Consumer Brand Marketing, Innovation Team, Consumer Engagement Team, Sales Team, as well as outside agencies, customers, endorsers, and key opinion leaders.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist on the development of the long-term strategy for TheraBand, including brand objectives, integrated marketing plans, and budgets 
  • Help execute brand positioning, look and feel, packaging, messaging, web content, social media and public relations strategy, brand endorsements, and the total customer/consumer experience 
  • Help develop and execute comprehensive strategic marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization 
  • Partner with agencies and cross-functional partners in E-Commerce, PR, and Commercial on execution of brand initiatives that drive business results 
  • Lead business analytics (share, volume, competition) to drive business objectives. Analyze consumption & consumer data. Translate learnings and insights into actionable recommendations to optimize brand/messaging effectiveness. 
  • Manage the business budget and drive prioritization of resources 
  • Manage new product innovation projects 
  • Assist on the development of initial business cases for new opportunities and sports partnerships 
  • Collaborate with the innovation team to be the driver of your brands innovation agenda and lead the commercialization of new product innovation projects 
  • Collaborate with the consumer engagement team to manage ongoing social content, experiential activation, and sports partnerships 
  • Work closely with sales, manufacturing, distribution, and legal in the development of marketing plans. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field 
  • 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience 
  • Consumer brand experience, preferably on fast moving/fast growing brands. 
  • Commitment to results; ability to act decisively 
  • Preferred healthcare, wellness, or physical fitness industry or market segment 
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time, including overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred 
  • Ability to operate Windows package: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and system packages such MasterControl
