The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans has a reputation for providing state-of-the-industry education, research and information concerning pensions and benefits to a diverse audience within the United States and Canada. The person in this position will serve as a primary source for the successful collaborative development of content for International Foundation educational programs. This includes developing program descriptions, learning objectives and the progression of content for conference sessions and coursework; and the selection of speakers and instructors. This position will also serve as a staff advisor to International Foundation volunteer committees.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and some form of related on-the-job experience is required. A strong knowledge of employee benefits or human resource management is very desirable. A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation is desirable.

This individual will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral), and a strong administrative base which will include the ability to organize and complete multiple tasks and projects efficiently, effectively and on time. The individual will also possess the ability to work with diverse constituencies while operating in a team environment.

The individual must be able to travel within the U.S. and Canada (approximately 20%-30%, may be higher during the first year of training). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
