Planet Propaganda is seeking an obsessive builder of brands to simplify our clients' foundations so we can amplify them into a world-rumbling, passion-driven force. Our Brand Strategist eats data with their morning Wheaties and drafts their lunch options into positioning matrices. You're excited by the chance to pair your business acumen with your creative edge to help brands define why they exist. And you know that it’s a combination of head and heart that drive brand success. Your friends may have accused you of overthinking everything, but you know this as your secret weapon for uncovering a brand's ultimate truth – the truth that transforms them from a brand that people buy, to a brand people believe in. (This is an in-house position. We are not looking for freelance or remote employees.) 

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in an agency-side strategy department, brand strategy shop, or client-side brand management position
  • Will bring a tool box of methodologies that you can flexibly adapt to complement (and fine-tune) our current approach
  • Are exceptional at finding, conducting, interpreting, and distilling research into simple and compelling insights *that fuel great stories and superb* presentations.
  • Are boundlessly curious, and push yourself continually to ask better questions that will reveal the unexpected nuggets that lead to big results
  • Can explain creative ideas in terms of business objectives to anyone from a CEO to a junior copywriter with unwavering clarity
  • Have a solid understanding of business metrics, and how customers' brand experiences drive them Possess confidence and a POV, tempered with humility and a collaborative spirit
  • Know the relevant software well: Excel, Presentation (PowerPoint / Keynote), Word, Google Drive
