Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. Groups within CAO work to protect our reputation, tell our story, bolster team member engagement, connect with our customers, and bring new and innovative solutions to life. CAO functions include Commitment to Customer, Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations, Data Management & Insights, Human Resources, Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, and the CAO Integration and Planning Office.

The Business Communications, Support, and Strategy team of Learning & Development (L&D) provides functional communications for senior L&D leaders, managers, and project teams to meet their overall strategic and engagement objectives. The team also supports the digital strategy and technical execution of communication platforms (i.e., collaboration, social, video, web interactive) to enable L&D, line of business, and team member efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for communications strategy and execution for L&D. 
  • Consults with business unit leaders/executives to interpret, translate and apply L&D strategy to all levels via group-wide communications, including communications that have regulatory implications and impacts, as well as highly sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Develops impactful content for digital marketing, social media platforms, and team sites, including communications for digital content for targeted audiences. 
  • Consults with L&D, HR, and business leaders on the appropriate communication delivery channels to reach different levels in the organization including Team Moments, email, and Teamworks. 
  • Consults with LOB and L&D subject matter experts to develop site content to illustrate concepts, ideas, and tools. Writes communications, develops concepts, edits, and creates materials, including speeches and PowerPoints for L&D leaders and managers for delivery to a variety of audiences through multiple channels. 
  • Communicates metrics insights into actions and executes a consistent, structured process for content review while securing necessary approval. 
  • Oversees internet social media and digital communications strategy for L&D. 
  • Partners with corporate video services to create marketing / communication videos (technical development) and animations, especially when there is a need for higher production value. 
  • Facilitates leader webcasts including dry runs, slide navigation, scheduling, and recap communications for quarterly and ad-hoc meetings for audiences in excess of 1,000 participants.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of communications experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience writing and editing internal communications, including corporate and executive level communications 
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members 
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment 
  • Experience developing communications leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling 
  • Experience developing integrated communications strategies and plans that align with business objectives 
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels 
  • Experience creating visually dynamic presentations 
  • Ability to manage front office trading applications including: developing, maintaining, and supporting 
  • BS/BA or higher in English, journalism, professional writing, creative writing, education, or communications
