A national medical foundation is seeking a creative Marketing and Communications professional. This individual will have responsibility for creating/arranging a wide range of print and digital communications that will further the Foundation’s fundraising and awareness programs.

This individual will report to the Deputy Executive Director and will be responsible for coordinating the development of key communications including: website text; mass e-mails; brochures; the annual report; and creative direct mail pieces. This position is also responsible for maintaining the DF’s social media presence and working to implement an updated website for the Foundation.

A minimum of 3-5 years of hands on communications experience, including exceptional writing, project management and technology skills are essential. Non-profit experience is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field is desired—or equivalent experience. A master’s degree is preferred.

This position will have a significant impact on the ongoing success of the foundation. As a result, the successful candidate will be: 1) able to develop creative, project-specific communication plans to obtain desired results; 2) maintain high standards for the creation and delivery of all marketing materials and digital communications; 3) have an understanding of fundraising principles.
